The King James Version has stood the test of time
The following website among many others is a good source of information. http://www.avpublications.com/avnew/home.html The book NEW AGE BIBLE
VERSIONS by Gail Riplinger is also recommended although it has been brutally attacked since its publication back in the early 90's.
The fact remains that no one has challenged the KJV on doctrinal grounds but usually because its language is supposedly archaic. But
every other version from the RSV, NASB, and NIV on down have been challenged and rightfully so on doctrinal grounds. So if the KJV is sound
doctrine then why do we need new versions??? Can we not attain fuller understanding by using a dictionary, a concordance and some other Bible helps?
Where does it say in the Bible that the understanding of God's Word is supposed to be easy? Are we not taught to search for wisdom as for hid treasure?
Do silver and gold grow on trees or do they have to be dug out of the earth with a great deal of pain and labor? Did Peter not say that some things in Paul's
writings are hard to be understood? Did Jesus himself not speak in parables that were not easily understood unless expounded upon? The church has
followed the way of the world rather than being a beacon and a city set on a hill for all to see. As we have watered down education today so that many
college graduates (never mind high school ones) cannot even read and write at a grade 5 levels, so it has happened with the church. As an aside
somewhere on the internet there is a grade 8 exam posted from the late 1800's and 99% of college graduates would not pass that exam today. So the
problem is not with the archaic language of the KJV but rather the fact that a dumbed down population is not able to exercise critical thinking let alone the
proper use of language as found in the KJV. It is simply not possible to translate God’s Word into grade 5 level English: the translations based on that false
premise just cannot bear fruit. I am certain that the original Hebrew and Greek were not written at a grade 5 levels.
Speaking of fruit did Jesus not tell us by their fruits shall ye know them…? What fruit have these versions borne? Since the 50’s when these new and
improved translations have started coming out have our nations become more Godly or less so? If the premise was correct that they would promote a
greater understanding of God’ Word should there not have an explosion of Godliness and Godly people in our nations? Do not millions of people sit in
church every Sunday and listen to these versions being read and taught? So if these versions bore as much fruit as their translators claimed they would we
should be the holiest nations that have ever existed on the face of the earth. So should we then be seeing sodomy and every other perversion imaginable
openly flaunted and made the law of the land? Do the legislators of today even remotely resemble those of yesteryears who formed what was probably the
freest nation ever on the face of the earth? Do you think the thoughts and ideas of the founding fathers would have been shaped the way they were had
they been reading the Living bible?
Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their
soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. If these versions are as accurate and easy to understand as
we are led to believe, should our nations not be the most exalted on the face of the earth? Are we the most exalted? The corrupt media many mislead the
masses into thinking so but what does God say? Deuteronomy 28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto
thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. Go check and see if
our ‘wealthy’ nations of Canada and USA are borrowers or lenders? The federal debt alone in the US is somewhere around 9 trillion and growing daily, a
trillion I believe has something like 12 zeros behind the first digit. This figure does not even include State, Municipal and above all personal debt. Are most
people sitting in churches borrowers or lenders? Are most churches that use these versions borrowers or lenders? The sad part that these sins that are a
reproach to any nation are not even thought of as sins any longer!
What we have today is an instant gratification feel good churchianity not Godliness, not take up your cross or bear the burden of God’s word Christianity.
We have every second church on the street flaunting PROFIT DRIVEN men like Rick Warren who promote a cushy, casual gospel that has no resemblance
whatsoever to the New Testament church of the book of Acts and people flock to these places in droves. People can no longer discern that the purpose of
the local church is not to EVANGELIZE but for the pastor to feed the flock: for pastors and teachers to give meat to those who already believe so they can
mature and grow and they can then evangelize their own families and neighbors. Pastors lie to their flocks and promote heretic teachings of men like
Warren that the church must become like the world so that the world can be saved by coming to their mega multi million dollar buildings. They conveniently
forget the message of carrying the cross, bearing the burden, laying down your life even as they supposedly worship in floral Hawaiian shirts to blaring rock
music that is indistinguishable from that which is played daily on secular FM stations.
In conclusion to determine the efficacy of these NEW & IMPROVED VERSIONS let us examine the state of our world. Morally speaking are we improving as a
race, as a people, as a nation or is the world fast degenerating into the type of world that existed in Noah’s days, a type of world whose inhabitants grieved
God at his heart? Did Jesus not tell us that the love of many will wax cold? How is this possible if they are well versed in the infallible Word of God? Might it
be because that that which they presume to the Word of God is nothing else but the lies of that old serpent, the dragon? 2 Peter 2:1 But there were false
prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that
bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. Keep this fact in mind that the apostle Peter taught that THERE SHALL BE FALSE TEACHERS
AMONG YOU not that there maybe false teachers among you. And he said that they would be among you, not out there in the world. What do these false
teachers look like? Why they look just like the real teachers but 2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from
such turn away.
Finally the KJV has withstood the test of time! When England made this translation available early in the 17th century, it swiftly rose to become a world
power. But when it turned away from the KJV in the late 19th century, its decline on the world stage was also rapid. As America has turned away from the
KJV it has started resembling ancient Hedonistic Rome far more than the Godly nation that it once used to be, at least outwardly if not inwardly.
Jeremiah 5:9 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
I have great deal of security that when I read the KJV I am reading the Word of God not cleverly hidden deceptions designed to ensnare my soul. For that
reason alone I will not touch any other version. If the Son of God has indeed come and given me an understanding that I might know him who is true then I
am sure He is quite capable of giving me a mind capable of understanding His Word, archaic or not!
